William Trentham

Mr. William Sidney Trentham

William Sidney (Sid) Trentham passed away suddenly on September 19, 2018, after a brief illness, at Jackson General Hospital.  Sid was born on February 19, 1948, in Jackson, Tennessee, to William R. Trentham and Rubye Claire Williams McGlaughlin.  He attended Jackson High School and the University of Tennessee, Martin and Knoxville. An avid sportsmen and Tennessee Vols fan, Sid is survived by daughter, Ina Kirsten Trentham and daughter-in-law Linda Winslow Trentham of Medina, TN, son, William (Will) Trentham of Jackson, TN, grand-children  Britney, Kasie, and Benjamin Trentham, of Medina, TN, sister Sarah Lancaster Luna and brother-in-law Phillip S. Luna and nephew Bradley R. Luna of Tempe and Phoenix, Arizona, brother Bob Trentham and sisters Anita Strange, Melanie Proffitt, Linda Noe, and Carole Dudley of East Tennessee, his ex-wife and best friend Alice Trentham, his beloved dog, Gracie, and numerous friends whose lives he has touched in so many meaningful ways.

A service will be held on Monday, September 24, at 6:00 pm, at Lambuth Memorial Methodist Church, 160 Campbell Street, Jackson, TN, 38301.  There will be time for visitation with the family before and after the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, National Wildlife Federation or National Audubon Society in the name of William Sidney Trentham.
