Thomas Raymond Volner

Funeral services for Mr. Thomas Volner will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, December 20, 2020, in the chapel of Replogle-Lawrence Funeral Home with Steve Wilkinson officiating. Burial will follow in Hickory Flat United Methodist Church Cemetery in Cedar Grove with Military Honors. Visitation will be held Saturday from 3 until 6 p.m. at the funeral home and on Sunday from 12 noon until service time.

Mr. Volner, age 86, passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2020.

He was born in Decatur County, TN to the late Tommy Edgar and Hedy Sykes Volner. Mr. Volner was retired from Milan Army Ammunition Plant and was a member of Sunset View Church of Christ. He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Yuil D. Volner; sisters, Paula Gordon and June Utley; grandson, Micheal Buckingham.

He is survived by his wife Martha Ann Fincher Volner; sons, Mike Volner and wife Machelle; Tim Volner; daughter, Janice Buckingham; step-sons, James Eric Johnson and wife Donna, Darryl Johnson and wife Johnnie; brother, Billy Volner; sisters, Johnnie Thompson, Shirley Baker, Brenda Thompson, Cathy Lunsford; his little man, Harry Morris; grandchildren, Amanda Volner, Kelsey Volner, Timothy Buckingham and wife Jenny; great-grandchildren, Karli Corkran, Dewayne Conaway, Mekai Conaway, Jae Conaway, Hadleigh Buckingham, Maddy Bryant, Carson Bryant, Saylor Buckingham.
