Sylinda Carol Pruitt

Memorial services for Mrs. Carol Pruitt of Oakfield, TN, will be held on Sunday, May 21, 2023, at 2 P.M. in the chapel of Replogle-Lawrence Funeral Home with Mr. Curt Stubblefield and Bro. Jeremy Brown officiating. Visitation with the family will take place one hour prior to service.

Mrs. Pruitt, age 58, passed away peacefully at home with family by her side.

She was born in Jackson, TN to the late Raymond Paul Haase and Nettie May Watson Haase. Carol graduated from Bolivar Central High, “Class of 82”, and attended Freed Hardeman College. She worked as the Whole Goods Manager for TN Tractor in Jackson. Carol loved vacation time as she could travel to the beach, go on cruises, and spend time with her family. She also had a love of flowers, especially daisies, and spent quality time reading in her Bible.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Joe Haase; sister, Lena Gray.

She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Larry Pruitt; son, Darrell Pruitt; daughter, Laura Pruitt and fiancé Oakley Patterson; brothers, Willy Haase and Marty Haase; sisters, Cathy Azbill and husband Kevin, Paula Coffman and husband Bob, Gina McCall and husband Larry; aunt, Emma Inez Watson Stubblefield and husband Curt; uncle, William Arthur Watson and wife Carolyn.
