Susie Elizabeth Wood

Funeral services for Mrs. Susie Wood will be held at 2 P.M. on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, in the chapel of Replogle~Lawrence Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Skelton officiating. Burial will follow in Centerville Cemetery near Medina.  Visitation with the family will be held from 12 noon till service time at the funeral home.

Mrs. Wood, age 66, passed away at her home in the Three Way community on Monday, December 25, 2023.

Susie was born in Humboldt, TN to the late Roy L. Harper, Sr. and Joyce  Waddell Harper Horton.  She attended school in Humboldt and Memphis before beginning her 30 plus year career at Porter Cable in Jackson.  Susie took joy in cooking, beauty pageants, playing the accordian, her church family at Immanuel Baptist Church in Trenton, and anything Elvis. She loved her family dearly.

Susie was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 40 years, Terry Wood.

She is survived by her sons, Kenneth Harper and Jerimie Wood; daughter, Wendy Priaulx, brothers, Ira L. Harper ( Debbie ) and Roy L. Harper, Jr. ( Pam ) ; sisters, Regina Karnes ( Gary ) and Jackie Patterson ( Mike ) ; grandchildren, Alexis, Luke, Harley, Jacob, Havannah, Houston, and Haven.
