Sammy Lee McCarver
Graveside services for Mr. Sammy McCarver will be held 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 23, 2021, at Latham’s Chapel Cemetery with Bro. Dewayne Vinson officiating.
Mr. McCarver, 77, passed away Tuesday, June 15, 2021, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
Sammy was born in Toone, TN to the late Oscar Lee McCarver and Bertie Lenard McCarver. He was a farmer and loved to garden, fish, being in the outdoors, coffee, and his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Lilly Bell McCarver; brothers, Norman Herron, Jimmy McCarver, Michael Lafon, David McCaig; great-granddaughter, Ashley Marie Boyd.
Sammy is survived by his son, Marvin Herron; daughters, Leanne Byars, Reba Brewer and husband Pete; brothers, Roy Lee Herron and wife Linda, Steve Lafon and wife Tammy; sisters, Sue Driscoll and husband Darrell, Rebecca Ann Huebssch and husband David, Becky Ayde Lott and husband Jerry, Donna McCormick and husband Roger, Betty Ann Black; five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren.
