Ronnie Lindell Swafford

Funeral services for Mr. Ronnie Lindell Swafford will be held at 1 P.M. Friday, March 1, 2024, in the chapel of Replogle-Lawrence Funeral Home with Elder  Mike Roberts officiating.  Burial will follow in White Rose Cemetery near Gibson, TN.  Visitation with the family will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, February 29, 2024, from 4 P.M. until 7 P.M. and again on Friday from 12 P.M. until service time.

Mr. Swafford, age 78, passed away at his home in Milan, TN on Monday, February 26, 2024, after a long illness.

Ronnie was born in Milan to the late Herman Swafford and Callie Mae Arrington Swafford. He was a graduate of Gibson High School before working as an assistant manager in local grocery stores. In more recent times, he worked as a self-employed carpenter. Ronnie enjoyed gardening, fishing, and hunting; especially ducks.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 38 years, Paulette McAfee Swafford; son, Barry Swafford; grandchild, Aerial Swafford; brother, Larry Swafford; sister, Shirley Duch.

He is survived by his son, Jeremy Swafford and wife Jocelyn Burnham; daughter, Wendy Bates and husband Richard; brother, Dennis Swafford; sisters, Charlotte Blankenship, Patsy Reid; grandchildren, Leegan Swafford, Morgan Seymour, Clint Bates, Baileigh Bates Duggin, Autumn Swafford, Aerin Swafford; great-grandchildren, Madison, Zepplin, Zayden, Zaxton, Melody, Emmett, Everett. 

Pallbearers to serve are Leagan Swafford, Clint Bates, Richard Bates, Charlie Moore, Paul McAfee, Josh Arnold, Adam Arnold, Parker McAfee, Gary Smith.
