Funeral services for Mrs. Paula Mitchell Cook will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 25, 2017, in the chapel of Replogle-Lawrence Funeral Home with Nathan Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgecrest Cemetery in Jackson.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until service time.
Mrs. Cook, age 74, passed away Saturday, July 22, 2017, at Maplewood Healthcare in Jackson with her children by her side.
She was born in Culleoka, TN to the late Paul Mitchell and Annie Margaret Demastus Mitchell. Mrs. Paula retired from Sears in Jackson after 25 years of service.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 53 years, Bobby Joe Cook; brother, David Mitchell.
She is survived by her son, Mark Cook and wife Libby of Nashville; daughters, Carla Cook of Medina, Julie Murchison and husband Jackie of Medina; Grandchildren, Brittany Hearn, Amber Hearn, Hunter Cook, Turner Murchison, Jade Murchison, Tiffany Walker, Lesley Bryant, Kim Allen; fourteen great-grandchildren; brothers, Richard Mitchell and wife Linda, Jimmy Mitchell and wife Ginger.
Pallbearers to serve will be Hunter Cook, Turner Murchison, Shawn Lewis, Chuck Demastus, Keith Hatchett, Travis Smith.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Murray Cook, Kenny Cook, and Brad Cook.
