Mrs. Lisa Ann Norvell
Graveside services for Mrs. Lisa Norvell will be held 2 p.m. Monday, September 13, 2021, at Highland Memorial Gardens in Jackson, TN with Bro. Mike Hale.
Lisa, age 54, passed away Thursday, September 2, 2021, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. She was born July 10, 1967, in Jackson, TN to the late Bobby Joe and Barbara Zimmerle Segerson. After high school, she attended West Tennessee Business College.
Sister Lisa was strong in her faith and loved to share Jesus with everyone, whether it was through personal testimony or her beautiful singing voice. She was saved and baptized as a young child in 1974. Her love for life was evident by the way Lisa lived each day. She was a great prayer warrior, continually lifting up others, even when in the hospital herself.
Lisa had a gift for making elegant floral arrangements and wreaths. She worked at many florists over the years, and it was there where she met her husband, James Allen Norvell. They were married on October 17, 1992. Nine years later, they were blessed with the birth of their son, Blake Franklin, who was the light of her life. Lisa especially loved children and always referred to them as “doll.”
Lisa was preceded in death by her beloved parents; brother, David Segerson; nephew, Jason Segerson.
She is survived by her husband of 28 years, James; son, Blake; brothers, Steve and wife Linda Segerson, and Barry and wife Kathy Segerson; nieces, Sheila Pierson and husband Doug Emerson and Carrie Segerson Whiteman; great nephews, Kelby and Caleb Pierson; great niece, Beth Whiteman, and lots of cousins, uncles, and aunts whom she loved dearly.
Despite her health issues, she always had a smile on her face and laughed through most situations. Her contagious laugh will be missed by those who loved Lisa, but we celebrate the fact that she is now completely healed and at peace with her Lord and Savior.
