Jose Asuncion Kalinisan died Saturday, December 10, 2016, at Regional One in Memphis, TN.
Services will be held 4 p.m. Sunday, December 18, 2016 at Maley-Yarbrough Funeral Home in Covington.
Friends may visit from 3 p.m. until service time.
Military funeral honors and burial will be held at 10:45 am Wednesday, December 28, 2016, West Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, 4000 Forest Hill / Irene Road, Memphis, TN 38125.
Mr. Kalinisan was born in Bacoor, Cavite, Philippines to the late Rafael Apeng Kalinisan and Basilia Asuncion Kalinisan.
Mr. Kalinisan served in the U.S. Navy and was retired from the U.S. Postal Service.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Lucille Kalinisan and daughter-in-law, Rachel Kalinisan.
Mr. Kalinisan is survived by his son, Van Kalinisan; grandchildren, Sydnee Kalinisan and Samuel Kalinisan; daughter, Lisa Beasley; grandson, Justin Beasley and wife Karianne; granddaughter, Robin Rickard.
