Janet Estelle Day Worrell

Ms. Janet Day Worrell, age 83, passed away on Thursday, September 4, 2025 at the Jackson Madison County Hospital. Private family services will be held.

Janet was born in Humboldt, TN to the late Lenny Day and Ruby Wyrick Day. She was a graduate of Humboldt High School “Class of 1960”. Taking care of her home and family brought her a lifetime of joy.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Lynn Worrell; brothers, Wayne Day and Jackie Day; sister, Jimmie Holt.

Janet is survived by her daughter, Kim (John Paul) Miller; grandchildren, Sarah Beth Worrell and fiancé Ryan Fisher, Anna Grace Worrell, Adam (Mary Elizabeth) Miller, Lauren (Will) Simpson; great grandchildren Tucker Simpson and Nash Simpson; many dear friends and loved ones.
