Mr. James D. Owens
Mr. James D. Owens, affectionally known as J.D., passed away Monday, November 2, 2020, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born February 4, 1947, in Virginia.
He was preceded in death by his step-father, Earl Hurdle, and his mom, Patience Hurdle. J.D. served his country in the U.S. Army and was a longtime employee of Verizon.
He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Holly Miller Owens; step-children, Jeremiah Gapen, Jesse Gapen, Amanda Jean Gapen; brother, Robert Buck Owens; 9 grandchildren, Gavin, Landon, Valon, Cameron, Sam, Seth, Shyanne, Allie, Summer.
