Mr. James Allen Norvell

Funeral services for Mr. James Norvell will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, February 28, 2022, in the chapel of Replogle-Lawrence Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Hale officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 5 until 7 p.m. on Sunday, February 27, 2022, and on Monday from 10 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Mr. Norvell, 55, passed away Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.

He was born in Memphis, TN to the late Frank and Shirley Turner Norvell. James was a graduate of Northside High School and Jackson State Area Vocational Tech School and had been a longtime employee of TBDN Tennessee Company in Jackson, where he was affectionally known as “Big James.”

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 28 years, Lisa Ann Segerson Norvell; nephew, Jason Segerson.

He is survived by his son, Blake Norvell of Jackson; sister, Shelia Boswell and husband John of Medina; brothers-in-law, Steve and wife Linda Segerson, Barry and wife Kathy Segerson; nieces, Kimberly White and husband Clayton, Sheila Pierson and husband Doug Emerson, Carrie Segerson Whiteman; great nephews, Kelby and Caleb Pierson; great niece, Beth Whiteman.
