James Murray Knolton, II, age 72, of Jackson, TN, passed away on Friday, August 30, 2024, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
Born in Humboldt, TN, he was the son of the late James Murray Knolton and Nellie (Morris) Knolton Stephenson. Known fondly as Jim, he graduated from Humboldt High School and Jackson State Community College. Jim was a proud U.S. Army veteran who served during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his wife, Karen (Middlebrooks) Knolton of Jackson, TN; son, Nathan Scott Brewer of Memphis, TN; sisters, MaAnna Stephenson of Clarksville, TN, Carol Marino of Alexandria, VA; grandsons, Gavin Kristopher Carlin of Jackson, MS, Lucas Riley Carlin of Memphis, TN.
A private family service will be held to honor Jim's memory.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sacred Selections, 723 W. University Avenue, #265, Georgetown, TX 78626.
