Isaac Cecil Lewis

Isaac Cecil Lewis, age 92, passed away on Monday, May 19, 2025, at the Tennessee State Veterans Home in Humboldt. He was born in Bon Aqua, Tennessee, to the late Isaac Block Lewis and Lillian (Myatt) Lewis.

Cecil proudly served his country in both the United States Navy and the Army National Guard following high school. He went on to earn a master’s degree in mathematics and later enjoyed a fulfilling career as a computer programmer before retiring.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Gerald Lewis.

Cecil is survived by his beloved wife of 73 years, Georgia Marie (Mayberry) Lewis; two daughters, Connie Rogers (Tony) and Carol Lewis (Ruel DeVore); three grandchildren, Isaac, Drew, and Tyler Rogers; and his brother, Edsel Lewis.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in Bon Aqua, Tennessee.
