Grady Foutch

Grady Foutch, loving husband, father and grandfather passed away Friday June 17^th, 2022 at the age of 90, at his home in Germantown, TN.

Grady was born on October 6^th, 1931 in Medina, TN, to Alma and Lillian Foutch.  After graduating from Northside High School in Jackson, TN he joined the US Navy and served aboard the USS Coral Sea.  After receiving his business degree from Memphis State University, he worked in food sales for Kraft General Foods for 28 years. 

Grady married Alice Loree Graves on September 6^th 1956.  They were married for 65 wonderful years and raised two daughters.

After retirement he was very active as a certified BBQ judge and enjoyed traveling to various competitions.  He said his favorite part about the BBQ world was “the people”.  He also volunteered as a driver for the American Cancer Society. Grady loved life, was quick to make friends and always met you with a smile.  His favorite saying was, “Life is Good”.    

Grady was preceded in death by his mother Lillian, father Alma, his brother Wendell Foutch and sister Rachel Sanders.  He leaves behind his wife Alice, two daughters, Kim Foutch Gregory and Jil Foutch, and granddaughter Carly Walsh. He also leaves behind his sister Ann Beavers.

Funeral services for Mr. Grady Foutch will be held at 11 am Tuesday, June 21, 2022, in the chapel of Replogle-Lawrence Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Herrington officiating. Burial will follow in Hopewell Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 20, 2022 from 4 until 7 pm at the funeral home and on Tuesday from 10 am until service time.
