Eileen Marie Boppel

Eileen Marie Boppel (nee Fortier) age 78, was called to her Heavenly Home on Monday April 17, 2023 at the Christian Care Center of Medina in Tennessee.

 

Marie was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on September 20, 1944 to Gerald and Eileen Fortier who preceded her in death. Family who also preceded Marie in death are her brothers James Henry Fortier and Robert Gerald Fortier. 

 

Left to cherish her memory are brother David and sister Susan (Jack Bruggeman); Husband of 59 years Bill, son Bill (Melissa Parker), daughters Lauren (Rich Notestine) and Alyson (Dave Violette);  grandchildren Patrick, Elyssa and Ethan. Nephews, Nieces, Cousins and Friends cherish Marie as well.

 

Bill and Marie had 59 years of adventures and travel overseas as Marie supported Bill in his Military Service. Marie provided administrative support on bases wherever they were stationed. Upon return to civilian life, Marie continued her amazing administrative support skills with Helmer Directional Drilling. Aside from working, Marie also volunteered, giving tours of the 

WW II Museum in New Orleans. 

 

Above all else, Marie kept her family on track and in line -- with her love and devotion to her husband and her children. 

Retirement brought Marie and Bill to Medina, Tennessee to live near family. Even though her children are in different states (North Carolina, Ohio and Tennessee); the family stays connected by an unbreakable bond of love.

 

 

Marie lived an abundant life in her 78 years. Her legacy will live on in those she loved. "Well Done Good And Faithful Servant".
