Donna Rae Smith

Donna Rae Smith, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on January 27, 2024,  in Jackson, TN. She was 67 years old.

She was a dedicated homemaker, raising her children with love and care. Her kind heart, infectious laughter, beautiful smile, and warm presence touched the lives of all who knew her.

Donna was born to Larvous Jr. & Katie Mae (Bland) Sellers in Aurora, Illinois.  She was raised by her mother Katie and William (Billy) Allbritton in Chicago, which she loved and always considered home.  She later relocated to West Tennessee in the early 1980s, where she lived the remainder of her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her loving husband, Samuel H. Smith; daughter, Darla Rae Evans; son, Richard Ethan Farmer.  She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Celina Rae Butler (Xavier), Kaila Raeann Minton, Macey Raevan Minton, and Courtney Raelynn Minton, Addison Farmer, and Ellie Farmer; step-grandsons, Aiden Hernandez and Loggan Davis; her sisters, Linda Berford (Douglas), and Carolyn Lewandowski (Rick); and brother, Larry Sellers.

Visitation with the family will be on Friday, February 2, 2024 from 4 P.M. till 7 P.M. and again on Saturday, February 3, 2024 from 11 A.M. till 12 Noon in the chapel of Replogle-Lawrence Funeral Home.

A Funeral Service to honor Donna's life will take place at the Replogle-Lawrence Chapel on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at 12:00 Noon, with Bro. Steve Osborne officiating. Following the funeral service, a procession will lead to the Centerville Cemetery near Medina, where Donna will be laid to rest.

Donna's warm spirit and loving presence will be deeply missed, but her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew her.

May she rest in eternal peace.
