Diane Hardin Burruss

Diane Burruss, a beloved wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, July 24, 2023. She was born on July 21, 1954, in Elmhurst, IL to Clyde Vernon Hardin and Willadean Walker Hardin.

Diane led a fruitful and fulfilling life. She dedicated 27 years of her career to Centennial Bank of Medina, where she made a lasting impact on her colleagues and the community. Diane's commitment and work ethic were exemplary, earning her the respect and admiration of all who had the pleasure of working alongside her. Her loving nature and warm personality will forever be remembered by all those who knew her. 

Family meant the world to Diane, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Her husband Richard was her lifelong companion. Their bond exemplified love, support, and unwavering dedication.

Diane had a smile that could brighten even the darkest room. Her warm and inviting nature made it easy for her to forge lifelong friendships wherever she went. She never met a stranger and could strike up a conversation with anyone she encountered. Her ability to connect with people on a profound level left a lasting impact on all who crossed her path.

Diane was preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Willadean Hardin; and brother, Jimmy Hardin.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Richard Burruss; sons, Ben Burruss and wife Tammy, Brice Burruss and wife Mandy; brothers, Joe Hardin and wife Linda, John Hardin and wife Sandy; sisters, Angie Grogan and husband Rick, Sheila Noles and husband Roger; grandchildren, Eli, Reece, Maddy, Devin, Izzy; honorary grandchild, Wes; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held 12 P.M. on Friday, July 28, 2023, at Gracepoint Bible Church in Medina with Dr. Greg McFadden officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held at the church on Thursday, July 27, 2023, from 4 P.M. till 7 P.M. and also on Friday from 11 A.M. till 12 P.M.
