Deborah "Debbie" Gray Sterling

Graveside services for Mrs. Debbie Sterling will be held on Friday, September 15, 2023, at 1:15 P.M. in Hopewell Cemetery near Medina, TN with Bro. Kenny Spray officiating. Visitation with the family will take place in the Replogle-Lawrence Chapel from 11 A.M. till 1 P.M. prior to the graveside service.

Deborah “Debbie” Gray Sterling, age 60, passed away at her home in Milan, TN on Sunday, September 10, 2023.

Debbie was born in Jackson, TN to the late Marvin and Nell Newell Gray.  She was raised in Spring Creek, TN and graduated from Northside High School. Debbie worked as a nurse at Jackson Madison County General Hospital until her health began to fail.  Afterwards, she enjoyed her flowers, collecting all kinds of nicknacks, and spending time with her family and friends.

Debbie was preceded in death by her parents; husband of nearly 30 years, Luther Ellis Sterling; brother, Oliver Gray; sister, Regina Sedor.

She is survived by her sons, Anthony Sterling, and Randy (Jamie) Sterling; brothers, David Gray and Frankie Gray; sisters, Joyce Story and Annette (Royce) Hughes; Many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
