Mr. David R. Garrett
Funeral services for Mr. David R. Garrett, age 69, will be held at 12 noon, Monday, August 1, 2016 in the chapel of Replogle-Lawrence Funeral Home with Bro. Josh Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Nebo Cemetery in Henderson County.
Mr. Garrett died Thursday, July 28, 2016 at Milan General Hospital.
He was born in Collierville, TN to the late Hugh and Kathryn Garrett. Mr. Garrett was very patriotic and served in the U. S. Army as a marksman. David operated the NAPA store in Milan from 1978-1994 and won an award for best salesman in the southeast U.S. He was a dedicated and loving husband and father.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters.
Mr. Garrett is survived by his wife of 40 years, Debra Holloway Garrett; son, Mason Garrett; nieces and nephews, Jeffery Lale Holloway, Michael Athan Holloway, Jr., Michelle Holloway Robinson, Jessica Holloway Askew, Asa J. Holloway, Wendy Roberson Bryant, Kirby Dale Roberson, Brandy Roberson, and many other extended family members.
Pallbearers for the service will be: William Robinson, Lale Holloway, Alex Jackson, Kyle Pearson, Benjamin Robbins, David Messer. Honorary pallbearers are Joe Pierson and David Walter
Visitation will be held Sunday, July 31, 2016 from 4 until 8 pm at the funeral home.
