Carolyn Ann McEwen Marcrum

Mrs. Carolyn Marcrum, age 76 of Medina, TN, passed away on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital after a long illness.

Carolyn was born in Trenton, TN to the late Ivan McEwen and Christine Patterson McEwen and attended the local schools. She then received her Associates degree and became an RN in Nashville, TN. Carolyn worked as an RN at various places until her retirement. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Carolyn is survived by her husband of over 43 years, George Marcrum; daughter, Amy Turner and husband Parrish; brother, Kenneth McEwen and wife Jan; grandchildren, Sydni Kirby and husband Miles, Molly Baker and husband Jake; great grandchildren, Whitt, Deeley, Emelyn, and Holland Baker. 

A private burial will take place at Hope Hill Cemetery near Medina.
