Carolyn Marie Henley Weeks

Mrs. Carolyn Henley Weeks passed away on Friday, July 14, 2023, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital after a brief illness.

Carolyn was born in Madison County, TN to William Howard Henley and Mae G. Tims Henley.  She attended Fairview School and grew up in the Medina area. In 1971 she married Homer E. Weeks, Jr. and moved to the Blue Goose community.

Although physically disabled, she was a master seamstress and a master gardener. She worked as a hearing aid dealer, caregiver, and loved to yard sale/flea market/thrift store shop. Carolyn never let her disability slow her down as she also drove and attended college. 

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, William Larry Henley.

She is survived by her brother, Howard Wesley Henley (Mandy); also, Brenda Georgen (Ralph), Eddie Georgen (Tammy), Nathaniel Georgen, Phyllis Schler (Daniel), Johnathan Schuler, Victoria Schuler, Buddy Cox, Esther Henley, Rose Henley, Brian Henley, Gabriella Muncy, Cody Venable.

Family and friends will have a memorial gathering at a later date.
