Brian Stewart

Brian Charles Stewart, age 51, of Gibson, TN, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, August 8, 2025. He was born on July 9, 1974, in Humboldt, TN, to Danny Earl Stewart and the late Jenny (Williams) Stewart.

Known affectionately by many as "Speedo," Brian was a longtime and valued employee of Betts Family Heating and Air. He also proudly served his community in many roles over the years-as a first responder, assistant fire chief, and reserve police officer in Medina. Always ready to lend a hand, Brian had a deep commitment to helping others and made a lasting impact on those around him.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Jenny Stewart; his grandparents, Earl and Ruth Stewart, and Pete and Jean Williams.

Brian leaves behind his father, Danny Stewart; his beloved daughter, Danielle Stewart; and his siblings, Corey Stewart, Madison Stewart, and Leigh Ann Lewis (Mike). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Kayla Hardin, Abby Dabbs, and Asher Criswell; his uncle, David Stewart (Linda); his aunt, Tina Trimmer (Danny); and lifelong friends he considered a brother and sister, Scottie and Jill Betts.

A memorial service to celebrate Brian's life will be held at a later date.
