Amanda Michelle Garner went to be with her Heavenly Father Thursday, August 25, 2022 at her home in Milan, Tennessee surrounded by her loving family.
Amanda was born in Ponca City, Oklahoma as a bubbly little personality who loved Jesus and others. Her childhood and teenage years were defined by her compassionate and caring nature. She attended Cordova High School in Cordova, Tennessee and graduated in 2004.
She was married to Owen Finch and had five beautiful children: Matthew, Leah, Londyn, Macie, and Xander who preceded her in death in 2011.
She is survived by her husband and children, her parents, Randy Garner and Joy (Paul) Moore, grandmother, Betty Stolberg, her sister Lindsey (Allen) Garner Stone, brothers Brent (Ashley) Moore and Cory (Catherine) Moore, as well as nieces and nephews, Alexa, Liam, August, Marilyn, Lilah, Jason, C.J. and Cami, and numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Gerald and Montine Parmer and Melvin Garner, uncle Randy Parmer and son Xander Garner.
Throughout her life, she held tightly to her faith with a heart of deep compassion for all she encountered. Many recount Amanda as always being a listening ear, the first to reach out in their time of need, and the one they could count on for encouragement. Her beautiful talent for singing lives on in the memory of those who loved her.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, August 27, 2022, at New Hopewell Church of Medina at 4 p.m.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at Centerville Cemetery near Medina at 2 p.m.
