Memorial gathering for Mrs. Genell Moore will be held Wednesday, March 18, 2020, from 4 until 7 p.m. at Replogle-Lawrence Funeral Home.

Mrs. Moore, age 80, passed away Monday, March 16, 2020, surrounded by her loving family at her home.

She was born in Finley, TN to the late John Thomas Monroe and Willie Sybil Mustein Monroe. Mrs. Moore was a devout Jehovah’s Witness where she had practiced her faith since 1974 and was a member of the Rutherford, TN congregation . She loved the beauty of flowers, cooking, and being generous with her homemade blankets.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Melinda Genell Buchanan.

She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Jerre T. Moore, Sr.; children Tom Rogers and wife Karen of Georgetown, TX, Robin Rogers-Steele and husband Greg of Boonville, IN, Kathy Maitland and husband Jerrell of Gadsden, TN, Jerry Buchanan and wife Karen of Driftwood, TX; step-son, Jerre T. (Jake) Moore, II of Cocoa Beach, FL; eight grandchildren; many other family members and friends.
