Funeral services for Ms. Wilma Tims, 98, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 18, 2026, in the chapel of Replogle-Lawrence Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Hopewell Cemetery near Medina. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the service begins.

Ms. Tims passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at NHC in Milan, Tennessee.

Born in Madison County, she was the daughter of the late William T. Mathis and Linnie Mae Luckey Mathis. Wilma was employed by Oakley Fashions for many years and was a faithful member of Friendship Baptist Church.

Wilma found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved gardening, tending to her flowers, reading, quilting, and sewing clothes for her family. Above all, she cherished the time she spent with her loved ones, who were the center of her life.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Opal Ray Mathis, Robert Mathis, Betty Lou Spencer, and Doris Barnes.

She is survived by her daughters, Paula McLemore (Robert) and Debbie Kuykendall (Hal); her grandchildren, Scott Kuykendall, Jeff McLemore (Sara), and Brian McLemore (Lisa); her great-grandchildren, Katee Kuykendall (Nate Glover), Elly Kuykendall, Eva Kuykendall, Joshua McLemore, and Anna Claire McLemore; and her cherished great-great-grandson, Walter Glover.
