Mallie could be found working at the funeral home, offering quiet comfort to grieving adults and children alike.

Mallie, a beautiful black Lab mix, passed away Friday, July 24, 2026, after a brief and sudden illness with Hemangiosarcoma, a fast-growing and aggressive cancer.

She found her forever home in 2017 and quickly became much more than a pet—she became family. From the moment she arrived, she filled every room and every heart with unconditional love.

Mallie never met a stranger, especially if that stranger happened to have a treat in hand. Her gentle spirit, wagging tail, and friendly nature made everyone she encountered feel welcome. Whether greeting friends, neighbors, or first-time visitors, Mallie had a remarkable way of making people smile.

She also had a very special calling. On occasion, Mallie could be found working at the funeral home, offering quiet comfort to grieving adults and children alike. Without saying a word, she reminded those facing life's hardest moments that love and companionship can provide healing in the midst of sorrow.

When she wasn't lending a comforting paw, Mallie could usually be found outdoors faithfully supervising the neighborhood. She took her responsibilities seriously, always keeping a watchful eye on everything happening around her. Her favorite adventures, however, were car rides, trips to the lake, swimming, riding on the boat, and enjoying the water she loved so much.

Mallie's legacy is one of kindness, loyalty, joy, and unwavering love. She reminded us daily to greet everyone as a friend, enjoy every adventure, and never pass up the opportunity for a good treat.

Though our hearts are broken by her absence, we find comfort knowing the love she gave so freely will remain with us forever. She leaves behind a family, countless friends, and a community made brighter by her gentle presence.

She will be forever remembered by her loving parents, Kimberly and Clayton White, brother, Holland; grandparents, Shelia and John Boswell, Rosa Lee and Kenny Perry.

Run free, sweet Mallie. May there always be endless lakes to swim, sunny days to supervise, treats around every corner, and peaceful hearts to comfort. You were deeply loved, and you will be forever missed.
