Graveside services for Ms. Helen Harris will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at Rose Hill Cemetery in Humboldt, TN.

Helen, age 91, passed away on Monday, November 24, 2025, at Alamo Nursing Home and Rehab in Alamo, TN.

Born in Gibson County to the late Thomas Irvin and Faye (Avery) Harris, Helen was a lifelong resident of Humboldt. After graduating from high school, she continued her education at Lambuth in Jackson, TN. Throughout her life, she served her community in many roles: as a school teacher, as an employee in an insurance office, and as a greeter at Hunt Funeral Home in Humboldt. She later returned to education as a substitute teacher for Humboldt City Schools. Known for her warm hospitality, Helen loved entertaining friends and hosting board and card games in her home. Helen had a very competitive spirit.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Tom Harris.

Helen is survived by two nieces, Pam McAlpin and Janet Anderson.
