Harvey C. "Rusty" Sikes, 72, of Guntersville, AL, passed away April 14, 2026, at his home in Guntersville. He was a native of Humboldt, TN, and was preceded in death by his parents, Herd Sikes and Cordia Melvina (Fussell) Sikes Brasher. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Calvin Sikes.

Mr. Sikes was a veteran of the U. S. Army; member of the Baptist church and was a retired truck driver being owner/operator for most of his career. 

Rusty is survived by his son, Samuel Sikes; grandchildren, Patience Sikes, Hayden Sikes; one great-grandchild; sisters, Janie Holt and Marsha Joyce; brothers, David Sikes and wife Martha Ann, Larry Sikes, Marvin Sikes and wife Carol; sister-in-law, Sherry Sikes; host of other family and friends.

Graveside services for Rusty will be held Saturday, June 20, 2026, at 2 p.m. at Gibson County Memory Gardens.
