Funeral services for Miss Evelyn Milam will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 16, 2025, in the sanctuary of The Church at Sugar Creek with Bro. Landon Mason officiating. Private burial will be held at Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held Monday, December 15, 2025, from 5 until 8 p.m. at the church and again on Tuesday from 10 am until service time.

Evelyn, 1, passed away at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital in Nashville, TN.

She was born in Jackson, TN to Katie (Carter) and Josh Milam.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, John Milam; paternal great-grandmother, Olivia DeLoach; maternal great-grandparents; Johnny Carter, Gerard and Barbara Burford.

She is survived by her parents, Katie and Josh Milam; paternal grandmother, Holly Milam; maternal grandparents, Duane and Karen Carter; paternal great-grandparents, Danny & Teresa Milam, Mickey DeLoach; maternal great-grandmother, Dorothy Frederick; paternal aunts and uncles, Eliza Milam, Rooker Milam, Kyle Whitfield; maternal aunts and uncles, Caleb and Meghan Carter, Shannon and Erin Von Dengler

Pallbearers honoring Evelyn will be: Rooker Milam, Chuck Cloud, Caleb Carter, Jackson Milam.
