Ms. Cathey Diane Holland, age 59, passed away surrounded by family at home in Gibson, TN, on Friday, May 29, 2026 after fighting a long battle with cancer.

Cathey was born in Trenton, TN to the late William L. Davis and Mary P. Taylor. She was a graduate of Gibson County High School  and then continued her education in nursing. When not working, she could be found in the garden working her flowers or out enjoying the horses.

Besides her parents, Cathey was preceded in death by an infant brother, William Davis.

Left to cherish her memory are sons, Thomas Dunn (Casey), Joseph Dunn (Anita), Gaylon "DJ" Holland; brothers, Jeff Davis (Charlotte), Kevin Frazier, Nicholas Taylor (Mia); sisters, Angela Mayes, Amanda Rehn (Jordan); seven grandchildren; one great grandchild; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Per her wishes, cremation with no services were chosen.
