Funeral services for Mr. Travis Watt will be held at 2 P.M. Sunday, February 17, 2019, in the chapel of Replogle~Lawrence Funeral Home with Bro. Donny White and Bro. Buster Groves officiating. Burial will follow in Centerville Cemetery near Medina.
Mr. Watt, age 71, passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2019, at Baptist Hospital in Memphis, TN, with family by his side.
Travis was born in Medina, TN to the late James Milton Watt and Dorris Lessenberry Watt. He attended school in Medina then worked as a carpenter in the area. Mr. Watt served in the U.S. Army, mostly in Germany, before returning home and to his carpentry. Whenever he got the chance, he enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.
Mr. Watt was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Sherry Mathis.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Fay Gordon Watt, whom were married on March 2, 1984. Also daughters, Teresa (John) Archer, and Christy (Blake) White; sister, Lesa Watt Garrison; grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Kane (Shelby) Tucker, Hunter Harrison, Colton and Aiden White, Alexis and Bren McClain; great grand children, Tatum Tucker and Eden White.
Visitation with the Watt family will be held from 5 P.M. till 8 P.M. on Saturday, February 16, 2019, and from noon till service time on Sunday, February 17, 2019.
Pallbearers to serve are: Kane Tucker, Hunter Harrison, Tony Banks, Brad Gordon, Alan Little, Buster Martin, and Colton and Aiden White.
